Some dates of events and deadlines may have passed. This information is left posted so that underclassmen can see the scholarship opportunities that may be available for them.

The Upstate Association of Educational Office Professionals (UAEOP) is happy to announce its annual scholarship of up to $500.00 to a deserving student. 

To be eligible students must:

  1. be a graduating senior.
  2. have maintained a C average or better in high school and a B average in high school business or education courses.
  3. Plan to enter a post high school accredited institution in the fall term following the granting of the scholarship.
  4. be a US citizen and a resident of SC.

Martin Luther King, Jr. took hold of the freedoms promised by our nation’s founding fathers and used his constitutional rights when he made his speech and developed his dream. By taking action on his dream, Dr. King was able to change the future of men, women, and children, and impact so many aspects of our current society. It is this spirit that inspired us to continue the theme for the 2018 MLK Dream Scholarships.
Twelve scholarships will be awarded totaling over $190,000 and presented at the MLK Dreams in Action Program on January 13, 2018. All scholarships entries will be evaluated for selection based on transcripts, letters of recommendation, autobiography statement, GPA, financial need and demonstrated leadership and community service.

Win a College Scholarship

Enter the 2018 Journalism Contest by writing a three-page article on the benefits of hiring people with disabilities. 

The contest winner receives a four-year scholarship to the SC state-supported institution of his or her choice.  The scholarship covers tuition and fees.

To enter you must be a South Carolina resident aged 16-19 years old and a senior in high school.  You do not have to have a disability.

Entries must be postmarked no later than February 1, 2018.

Every year Caring and Nurturing will reward (1) graduating senior with a scholarship contingent upon qualifying circumstances (see "qualifications" below).  Scholarship funding will range anywhere from $300 to $1000 depending applicable donations.

The Scholarship Give-A-Way Program is geared toward low-income families (with graduating seniors) seeking additional assistance for college funding.  College funding could include (but not limited to) anything from books, tuition, room/board etc.  Our mission is to uplift our youth by promoting education.  We understand it's easy to give-up on your dreams when funding is an issue .  Through our Scholarship Give-A-Way Program we are hoping to eliminate this burden.

Applications are open for the ACT Student Champion Award!  ACT Student Champions receive a $500 non-renewable scholarship, certificate, plaque, and state-level recognition.  To apply, students must have a composite ACT score of a 22 on a single test date or a 3.0 or greater on a 4.0 scale. Preference will be given to underrepresented and/or first-generation college students.

Harry Hampton, Wallace F. Pate, David M. Cline and James O. Thomason Scholarships

Harry Hampton Scholarship is a 4 year $5000/yr scholarship for students who wish to further their education in the natural resources discipline such as wildlife biology, fisheries biology, forestry and marine science.

The Wallace F. Pate Scholarship is a 1 year $2500 scholarship for  students who wish to further their education in the natural resources discipline such as wildlife biology, fisheries biology, forestry, or marine science.

The David M. Cline Scholarship is a 1 year $2000 scholarship for students who wish to further their education in law enforcement/criminal justice/forensic science.

The James O. Thomason Scholarship is a 4 year $2000/yr scholarship for students who wish to further their education in print or photo journalism, advertising, public relations, or mass communications.

The South Carolina Junior Golf Foundation Scholarship Program

This scholarship offers aid to deserving students who meet certain academic criteria.

Applicants must:
-Be a senior
-Have a 2.75 GPA on a 4.0 scale
-Be SC residents
-Have a competitive or recreational interest in golf
-Must attend an accredited public or private, four-year college or university in SC in the fall of 2018. To apply visit

 Animation Career Review "Aspiring Animation Professional" Scholarship. This $1000 scholarship is awarded annually to a student interested in pursuing an animation related degree at an accredited post-secondary school or college. Interested students can visit to find eligibility information along with an online application. This is the seventh year we have offered this scholarship. 
2. Fashion Schools "Aspiring Fashion Professional" Scholarship. This $1000 scholarship is awarded annually to a student interested in pursuing a fashion degree at an accredited post-secondary school or college.  Interested students can visit to find eligibility information along with an online application. This is the fifth year we have offered this scholarship. 
3. Online MBA Report "Aspiring Business Professional" Scholarship. This $1,000 scholarship is awarded annually to a student interested in pursuing a business degree at any accredited post-secondary school or college. Interested students can visit to find eligibility information along with an online application. This is the third year we have offered this scholarship. 
The deadline for all three scholarships is June 1, 2018.
