Jonathan Dilworth, who has led the Liberty High School Red Devil Girls basketball team for the past five seasons, has been named Boys basketball coach for next school year. Dilworth will also continue in his role as Associate Athletic Director.

“Coach Dilworth has earned the trust and respect of our community, faculty, and staff, and most importantly our student athletes” said Josh Oxendine, Liberty High School principal. “I have great confidence in his ability to thrive and lead in this new role.”

Dilworth is a product of the School District of Pickens County and has worked at Liberty High School throughout his career. After graduating from the University of South Carolina Upstate with a B.A. in Secondary Education – Social Studies, he began teaching and coaching at Liberty High in 2013. “Coach Dilworth has been instrumental in building a positive culture in Red Devil Athletics, and I’m excited about what he can bring to our program as Head Coach of our Boys basketball team,” said Liberty High Athletic Director Kyle Stewart.
