Resources for the College Bound Student
FastWeb is the nation's recognized leader in helping students make the decisions that shape their lives: choosing a college, paying for college and finding jobs during and after college.
The College Board Online gives help with the SAT but even more. College applications online, career searches, and many other sources of information.
The American College Testing (ACT) organization offers test registration, practice tests and many others things.
The National Collegiate Athletic Association (NCAA) web site offers information about collegiate athletics and the requirements needed to play sports. A great information source for the prospective college athlete.

CollegeNet, GoCollege, and BestColleges feature powerful search engines that let you select colleges by country, region, state, tuition, size majors, and/or sports offered. There are excellent lists of financial aid and scholarship links. The Cyber Guidance office is a "jumping off point" for a large number of other sources. Cyber Guidance is a virtual high school guidance office created by the Chairman of Guidance Services at Stanton College Preparatory School located in Duval County, Jacksonville, Florida.
The Occupational Outlook Handbook from the Department of Labor, Bureau of Labor Statistics, provides comprehensive, up-to-date information and describes employment in approximately 250 occupations, accounting for 7 out of every 8 jobs in the economy. Helpful information is given to job seekers including how to write a resume, tips for job interviews, and how to look at the want ads.

College rankings are taken from the current edition of America's Best Colleges published annually by U.S. News and World Report.
