College Application Day at LHS was quite an event! Watching our Red Devils take this major step toward their futures was truly inspiring! 🌟 The room was filled with determination as seniors crafted their college essays, reviewed applications, and supported each other through this milestone moment. From future engineers to artists, athletes to entrepreneurs - these students are dreaming big and putting in the work to make those dreams reality!
Major props to our incredible guidance team who transformed the office into application central, complete with festive decorations, expert support, and all the resources our seniors needed for success. The energy was electric as each student proudly held up their "College Application Day" pennant, marking the beginning of their next chapter. 🎓❤️

An admissions representative from the University of South Carolina will be on campus during lunch on Thursday, Oct 10 to answer students' questions about the UofSC!
Homecoming Festivities will be held October 4th at Halftime of the Game vs. Clinton.
Homecoming Dance will be rescheduled for October 25th after the game vs. Clinton.
A decision to play Friday's Homecoming game vs. Crescent will be made by 2:00 PM on Friday.

Caleb Rowland is the 2024 Pendleton Region Work-Based Learning Student of the Year! The Pendleton Region includes Anderson, Oconee, and Pickens counties. Caleb was selected from a group of other Work-Based Learning Students of the Year from schools in the Pendleton Region. Way to go! Caleb is a senior at Liberty High School and is interested in cybersecurity. Caleb’s work-based learning placement was with SDPC’s Accountability and Information Technology Services (AITS).
Caleb has been able to gain hands-on experiences working with AITS. From asset management to programming and setting up data closets, Caleb has been able to secure a firm foundation that will serve him well in the future. After graduation, Caleb plans to complete an undergraduate degree in computer science with an emphasis in cybersecurity and forensics. This will help him pursue his dream career working with the FBI investigating cybercrime.
